- 1 tsp salt, or to taste
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sugar (optional)
- ½ tsp dried basil (or a few fresh basil leaves)
- Optional: 1 tsp cream (for a creamy finish)
⚙️ How to Make Tomato Soup in the Instant Pot
- Sauté the Aromatics
- Press Sauté on the Instant Pot and wait until it reads HOT.
- Add olive oil, then sauté the garlic, onion, carrots, and celery for about 5–7 minutes, until softened.
