Pav bhaji pasta

Another fusion recipe from me. 😊. As you know with so little time to make with work from home and kids learning from home. We need some quick hearty meals. Pav bhaji is one the healthy and hearty meals. And one the favorite dish in my house 😊. Pasta is something I love eating and give me feeling of satiety after our desi gujju meal.
Pav bhaji pasta is a fusion pasta I ate in one my India’s visit to a grand event I visited. This dish was one of the dishes I admired among 100’s dishes served that night by well renowned caterer in town. Below recipe is my version of it, as I remember the taste.
Ingredients
2 cups- Left-over Pav bhaji’s Bhaji
1 medium- finely chopped red onion
1 tbsp – pav bhaji masala
1tsp- Red chili powder
1/3rd cup- Trader joes Cajun Alfredo sauce / or any alfredo sauce
2 tbsp – Amul butter or any salted butter
1tsp- Cooking oil
Cooked Pasta
Salt and Pepper and red chili flakes to taste
Cilantro for garnish
Amul cheese
Recipe:
- Heat a medium pan or skillet. Add oil and butter to it. Once heated add finely chopped onions to it and sauté it for 4-5 minutes until lightly soft brown. (you can add ginger garlic paste – optional)
- Once onions are done add bhaji and sauté it for some time.
- Then add Cajun Alfredo sauce and mix well. Let bhaji and sauce combine well let it cook for few minutes until butter comes up. Add half of the Pav bhaji masalo and red chili powder at this stage. (will use half in step 5) With stirring in between.
- Now add cooked pasta. Combine to cover each pasta with pav bhaji sauce.
- Now add Pav Bhaji masalo and chili powder. Season it with Salt, pepper and red chili flakes, as per you taste. And give it a quick stir.
- Serve it hot with some chopped cilantro, Amul butter and Grated amul cheese. Pav bhaji pasta are ready to eat..!! 😊
